A Spanish fantasy horror movie set in 1940's Spain. I'm not too sure about the details, since I haven't seen it, but I really really want to.

I have heard of multiple showings of pirated copies and have seen at least one pirated dvd being passed around at school, but I have yet to see it. Sounds cool, and I wouldn't mind watching it to see how much Spanish I could understand of it.

I've heard the quality of whatever pirated version these people got was fairly good, could probably torrent it easily. but I've also heard it's going into wide release, which is kind of cool considering that it is a Spanish thing.

It's Pedro Almodovar, right? :3

Yes, it's going to be released everywhere tomorrow.

Also, no, it's Guillermo del Toro.

damn, I can't get my spanish directors in line. That's what you get when you stop reading movie reviews constantly. I miss doing that.

The wide release isn't a dub or anything, right, it's still subbed?

well, of course it's foreign. :3
but y'know, they don't release crappy anime movies subbed, they're always dubbed, i wasn't sure if they were dubbing it for the cause of marketing or some bullshit like that.

part of the reason why i was asking was because i remember when i watched crouching tiger hidden dragon on dvd it included an english dub and i've never been sure if it was the language of the theater release or not. :/

shit, i need to see hero. still!

Apocalypto was awesome. Probably the best movie I saw last year.
