New Wii action-adventure game from the Elebits fellas. You control a little water droplet named Dewey. You can either heat him up to turn him into a cloud of vapor, or cool him down to turn him into a block of ice. You hold the remote "Excite Truck" style and tilt it around to tilt the stage, making Dewey slide about. You can also do other gestures, such as "fanning" the remote to create a windstorm. There will also be multiplayer, a level editor, and some sort of online functionality, almost definitely level-trading and maybe even online-play. According to the guy in charge, whose name I'm not going to attempt to spell, this game was designed to see how hard they could currently push the Wii graphically, whereas Elebits' purpose was to see how well they could nail physics on the system. Aside from a few sort of polygony areas, it really shows. The game looks great.
DA will have the same sort of cutscenes as Elebits. In other words, fantastic, beautiful still images accompanied by horrid voice-acting.
I think this game sounds great. Platformers seem like they're the toughest genre for the Wiimote to tackle, so I'm glad when I see new platformers for the system. It's a good sign that the genre won't get left in the dust.

This game is so cute it makes me want to barf. It is quite literally probably the cutest game I've ever seen.
Probably not going to get it. I don't know what it is, but even if cute games are crtically acclaimed, I don't like it. I didn't like Pikmin, I didn't like Animal Crossing, and I didn't like Elebits. I can't imagine myself buying this unless I get myself suckered into the hype again, which I'll try hard not to.
