In case you didn't realize, Frank Miller's historically inaccurate, though extremely enjoyable take on the Battle of Thermopylae is being made into a movie, and should be released next March.

Gerard Butler is playing King Leonidas (which I think is pretty lame, since Leonidas is fifty in the comic book and probably sixty historically, but whatever) and Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro plays a rather bald and heavily pierced rendition of the Persian king Xerxes.
About 90% of this film is CGi, the filming finished in January and now all the additional effects and that kind of shit is been added to the flick.
Looking forward to this one, should be extremely stylized, arty and gory.
