Riley began to explain the rules of the game, "To play this game, you must write everything as if you were writing a novel, and not a screenplay."
Riley continued on, "Basically, we will be holding a normal conversation, but like a book," and repeating himself once more, "so remember to speak like this, instead of how you normally speak.

He then made a motion with his hands, signaling the start of the thread.

Riley quickly added that you must refrain from speaking in 'chat speak' or internet slang in your posts, unless you are actually saying each individual letter.

"So wait," Dave said, dubiously. "We're supposed to just yammer on about nothing in particular? I think each page should have a topic."

His eyes lit up.

"Ooh! It could be like Authors from the original Whose Line is it Anyway!"

Thusly, a new rule was created, stating that each page will have a particular subject.

Riley looked at Its_The_Sneak!!! and snapped his fingers, "That is an excellent idea, Sneak! Maybe the first page should just be discussing how to run a game?"

He then went to amend the rules.

Really, the man sitting in the corner was confused as to the true nature of the game. He'd been watching it for a few rounds, but couldn't quite figure it out. There was nothing else of import happening right then, so he just continued to sit and watch, neglecting to ask how it worked out of the inability to summon the required effort. Or maybe it wasn't so much inability as his unwillingness, but it didn't much matter.

Laurie noticed a lethargic Jpec07 sitting in the corner with a puzzled expression as she meandered over to check out the new game. The game seemed simple though where it would go was questionable.

"Jpec07, what's up with you? It's Friday, Dude! We should be celebrating and you're looking like you could expire from lack of energy to breathe at any moment!"

Dan thought to himself that the premise of this new game took too much effort for something that wasn't as structured as a stickied game, and thusly left, never to post in the thread again.

As Jeff barely dodged the fleeing body of Dan, he laughed a hearty laugh at many thoughts inside his head.

Noticing Laurie trying to comfort Jpec, he walks over carefully, and jabs Jpec in the ribs with his fingers.

Ignoring the point-of-view shift in the last post, Xaq leaves the thread and goes to play some kind of video game.

Empy noticed the thread, taking it to himself to end up fucking it up at one point.

Taking out his small dagger, Jeff stealthily sneaks up behind Empy, and jabs it down his throat.

"That'll leave a mess."

Yes, I'm aware that sounds very dirty.

Empy takes 1d6+2 damage.
His hps are now 53.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Jeff?!" Shouted Empy as he backed off.
Then he killed Jeff with a tire iron.

Bonnie wasn't very interested in these shananigans so she went to Ethan's "amatuer asians/danish drinks/shoes to gaze at" super store which was in park lane.

Ethan came out of the store with like 4 of his very amatuerish asians.

"have you heard about the war that is starting" he said to bonnie

Little did Empy know, tire irons are high in fiber, and are a strength to Jeff. So as the attack occurred, Jeff absorbed most of the energy of the tire iron, rendering it almost useless.

He then proceeded to buy real fruit smoothies for everyone.

But then, all of a sudden, everyone realized that this was a lot like Fictional Character Melee.
