how spicy do you like your food?

see I like it really spicy and I love watching people who aren't used to spicy food trying to eat it and seeing the suffering in their eyes - sometimes I feel sorry for them. but more often than not I'm like what the fuck why don't you LIKE SPICY FOOD FUCKING HELL IT IS 10/1

I love spicy food. One thing I hate is when I go to a restaurant, and order like the "XXXTRA HOT WINGS CAREFUL YOU MITE DIE" plate and they're not even that spicy.

It makes me cry a little.

I love spicy stuff, but not when "tons of vinegar" = spicy.

Yeah, I agree. I love spicy food.

Last time I had Indian I ordered the Goa prawns and while they were very good they hardly lived up to the warnings on the menu.

I never saw the point in eating prawns that aren't spicy.

just my two cents, you may agree, you may not - just how I feel on the matter.

Well they were advertised as being practically nuclear, so I guess maybe the average clientele of that particular restaurant is really just a bunch of softies.

i'll admit, i don't really like it too much...

but i'm working on it. i'm trying to be more adventurous! the one time i had indian food i ordered it mild (Devastated.) but it came with a soup that wasn't and it was pretty tasty, that soup, if something strange and mysterious. and multiple dosings of chili helped.

I can generally eat foods with just a little bit of spice and like it if its done well. But I generally only eat on the mild end of the spectrum.

What's terrible is when you go to a Mexican restaurant and they just toss some crushed up spices or something on top of the food after its done cooking. That's just making stuff spicy for the sake of making it spicy, not adding flavor.

I always think of "spicy" as being an unnatural additive to the original food, and I usually like food best when it has as little seasonings and added flavors as possible.

Not that I don't mind a little spicy... but probably nowhere near the level that you enjoy, Bonnie.

I am in agreement with Ray over there. I normally can't stand spicy food. The reasons are threefold:

1. Huge family of Swedes.
2. Ulcer.
3. I like plain food in general.

Although I do like the hot general's chicken from the local chinese takeout. It's probably pretty weak to others with more fortitude, but it's as spicy as I get.

I only like the mild salsa Sad

I like a little spice here and there, but I hate really spicy foods.
