What are your favorite joints + styles + toppings for pizza?

I usually go to this place called Crusty's Pizza, which is an uptown cozy, joe-job place with tons of specialty, brick-oven pizzas.

My favorite kind of pizza is a brick-oven cooked, no-cheese, olive and pineapple pizza.

Hungry Howie's deep dish with butter crust, ham, pepperoni, heavy on the cheese and light on the sauce.

ham is by far the best topping, and sausage and bacon are underrated.

edit- i love the places that make really big, thin crust pizzas too. cinnabread with icing goes great with hungry howie's too.

I'm not too big on chains and take away pizzas, though the deli here makes a rather nice mexican.

ideal pizza usually consists of pepperoni, chilli, kalamata olives, bocconcini, spanish onion, garlic and green capsicum with a light tomato base. sausages like chorizo and loukaniko are also ideal. plenty of cracked pepper, also.

as a guess, I bet the best pizza in the world has haloumi.

Just give me the classic pepperoni pizza so I can encrust it with garlic powder.

And I MEAN encrust.

You guys probably aren't going to dig my favorites at all. I like mushrooms and chicken with heavy cheese on thick crust with a few anchovies on the side.

I like Pizza Hut's special pizza things. The cheesy crust, the removable cheesy crust, the P'zone, and all that jazz.

I should find out how to make a Calzone on my own.

As for normally, since Pizza Hut costs too much, I like to get a 5 buck medium pepperoni pizza from Little Ceaser's.

My favorite pizza place is Congress Lounge & Pizza in Ishpeming. If you can find it, it's a great place.

Thinking about it, I can't really say what my favorite pizza is. I prefer plain cheese, as a general rule, and plain cheese pizzas are either acceptable for comsumption or they are not.

local, never chain. there are at least five pizza places i can think of off hand that are in my town and that doesn't include the domino's. i love just plain old cheese pizza. occasionally i'll have garlic but no meat or insane veggies. pizza margherita is great if it's really artisan-y.

I throw on onions. I've done onions and Hawaiian, and it's good.

When I lived in Shrewsbury there was a place called Golden's Pizza. They just piled the cheese on top. Sadly, they closed down a couple years after I moved and the bulding is now a Japanese/Chinese restaurant. But there's a place about 2 mins away called Brattle Stop Pizza, which is basically Golden's reincarnated. It's also practically on a railroad crossing, so they have a train on the boxes. Also it's a convenience store.

Steve's Pizza in West Boylston is also great.

I like the normal cheese and pepperoni, and sometimes chicken. Though I usually get chicken pizza from Domino's because it's better than other places' chicken pizza.

My favorite pizza place would be Little Caesar's.
For toppings?
I like either pepperoni, or Sausage, or even both Wink.

Take out the anchovies and I'm right with you there.

Personal favorite pizza is Greek, also known as the SPARTA MADNESS at my favorite joint. And I eat ALL pizza with a liberal spread of tabasco.

Best joints:
Rocco's
Oasis Pizza
Pizza Oasis (really)
Hot Lips
It's a Beautiful Pizza
Escape From New York
on a good day, Pizza Schmizza

I hate chains. Domino's and Pizzacatto are fucking awful. Pizza Hut is alright.
