I've been thinking about this. There's obviously no way to determine which Mr. Show episode is the very best, since most of them are very different, but we can all still have a favorite. I'll list my favorite five in chronological order.

1. What to Think, the gem of season one. It's almost perfect except for the segment after Good News containing the Jesus & Marshal skit. Other than that it's got the Senator Tankerbell side-plot, the first Globo-Chem sketch, and of course The Joke: The Musical, which is epic and perfect.

2. If You're Going to Write a Comedy Scene, You're Going to Have Some Rat Feces in There has Grass Valley Greg Sniper, Van Hammersly, and a slew of other well-written sketches that I feel have gone totally under the radar. Not the best of season two, which is the next one, but still epic.

3. The Velveteen Touch of a Dandy Fop is probably one of my favorite Mr. Show episodes ever. Featuring not only the Monsters of Megaphone sketch, the four voices in your head sketch, but Coupon: The Movie, which has some amazing lines in it such as, "I saw the shit out of it!" I HEART THIS EPISODE.

4. Oh, You Men. This episode has the Ventriloquism War sketch. That's good enough for me, but it also has the Guy I Tried to Murder sketch, DeLongpre Dannon, The Lie Detector Sketch (WHICH IS AMAZING), and of course Druggachusetts. I love it!

5. My previous all-time favorite episode, Rudy Will Await Your Foundation, contains Superstar Machine, Phone Sex, Audition, and the Burgandy Loaf 6-Star Resturant, and those are fucking spectacular.

Runner ups:
*Bush is a Pussy
*Operation Hell on Earth
*We Regret To Inform You
*Who Let You In?
*A Talking Junkie
*Now Who Wants Ice Cream?
*It's Perfectly Understandishable (features the Monks vs. Fat Kids sketch)

YEAH LIST YOURS YEAH

Man, this is a really hard question. Every episode of Mr. Show has strong and weak points. That being said, I am going to avoid the question entirely and just list my favorite sketch:

Cockring Warehouse

The first time I saw this, I laughed so hard I actually threw up.

That's fair enough I guess Der. My favorite sketch would have to be either Audition or the Porno Store or Van Hammersly.

I think the sketch is "Change for a Dollar." I'm not so sure on episodes, but that's one of my favorite sketches.

The one where he asks for just quarters and it goes through the entire hierarchy of the convenience store business all the way up to the president of the United States just to hear "no?" That one is epic, especially because Bob and David are pretty much the only actors in the entire sketch and there are 10+ characters. Shitty episode though.
