Thanks guys this thread got me extra credit on my government test today.
The guy spends too much time teaching us about government, and too little time teaching us about the government textbook. |

What a demagogue. I can't believe he actually said that. |

I'm kinda mixed here.
On one hand, McCain would give Obama some serious competition in the general election. And goddamit, I want a democrat in the white house now.
On the other hand, I don't like Hilary, and I don't expect her to have a chance against any Republican if she is chosen as the democratic nominee. In this case, McCain would be the Republican candidate that would piss me off the least.
So I am both mad and happy that McCain is going to be the republican nominee. |

" Huckabee faces a daunting challenge. McCain has a significant lead in the delegate count after Super Tuesday. Huckabee has 217 delegates to McCain's 714, according to CNN calculations.
"I know the pundits, and I know what they say: The math doesn't work out," Huckabee said Saturday morning at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington. "Well, I didn't major in math, I majored in miracles. And I still believe in those, too." _________________

I honestly don't see how he has a chance of beating McCain at this point. He couldn't even beat McCain here in Oklahoma, and we're a huge part of the Bible Belt. |

If we weren't nearing the end of that competition, I'd buy something with that on it. |

even with the superdelegates he still has the lead
this is probably going to go all the way to the convention, allowing mccain even more time to develop his campaign strategy and beat the democrats (especially if obama gets the nomination, in which he can also use the leftover smear residue from the hillary campaign). really, i dont have the same burning hatred for hillary so many others have for some reason, but im pretty pissed off she's fucking the party over like this. _________________
