I wouldn't mind if people used drugs if they practiced responsible use, but most don't. I'm not for drugs because I don't trust that people will be responsible when they use them. That isn't my stance on guns, however, 'cause guns make shit blow up and that's pretty awesome. Also police/military use them to protect civilians/stop crime and that's A-OK with me.

yeah, I'll quote this too and leave it at just about that, with a minor addition:
"Responsibly" is not "recreationally." "Responsibly" is as directed by a medical prescription for medical reasons.
But as long as the law holds drug users responsible for what they do under the influence, then that's all I can legally ask. Go kill yourself with drugs if you must, just do it far away from me.
