well. I thought it looked really silly from the previews, but I ended up seeing it anyway, and was pretty much blown away. maybe because I had such low expectations... but it really was a fantastic movie. the first half or so of the movie was very predictable but enjoyable, but then the second half was really intriguing and also enjoyable.

I wish I had been able to see it in imax ):

After seeing it a second time, I've come to the conclusion that, despite some inconsistent performances, I really really like this movie. Also FUCK YEAH SIGOURNEY WEAVER.

It's the best movie I've ever seen...

...on a visual standpoint. Action was pretty awesome, but attempt at being thought-provoking and deep wasn't that great. Also, R&B credits song made me leave the movie all mad. Didn't fit with it at all.

Edit: Wow my post sucked, edited for clarity.

It's Celine Dion. It's supposed to be pretty. In that much, it fits perfectly with the rest of the movie (lots of shinies, but no relevance). Oh, and she's not an R&B singer...

Predictable and overused plot was predictable and overused. I'll probably still buy it on Blu-Ray, simply because I can't wait to see how it'll look on my LED monitor. Very Happy
