This place is a ghost town of strange and wispy memories. Odd to think that it felt like it would last forever at the time. Eventually we all drifted away. There wasn't any warning, but that's not to say we didn't see it coming. It was a long, slow process that started almost imperceptibly and continued until it was just something that had always seemed to be happening. Now, the very thing that brought us together in the first place is making a resurgence. A Halloween short heralding a full toon, only two weeks after another short was put up. Still, it's not enough to restart the heart now. The damage has been done. Once upon a time it was the light in our life. Now there's only love in the dark. Nothing we could do.

I stopped liking Homestarrunner a few years after joining .Net but I stayed around Rules and its other incarnations because of you guys.
It's less that Homestarrunner died down and more that everyone got older and mostly moved on from posting. |

Yeah. It's kind of crazy. I remember the other day how saying the word OVNI, while talking in Spanish with my family reminded me of that one dude Hudor who used to post here. It was weird to have that memory out of the blue.

Just googled "Hodur el Poderoso" and think I found the dude's twitter. Glad to know he's still kicking.
