Seriously. It's a shit cover of an already shit song and the video is a bunch of pretentious tosh. And he completely ruined the chorus, too.

Don't get me wrong, Cash was a good man. But I think he could have gone out with something much better.

Cash was more than a country artist. I haven't heard much of his, but what I have heard - especially his prison live shows - is really good stuff.

Anyway, this should be in Now Playing. The video is a little better than I remembered, and yes, it does have a more orthodox 'depression' going through it than any nu-metal video, but I still think of it as too much at once, like it was made to make you cry like an idiot, even if you didn't care about Cash. I guess that's a bad reason to not like it, but the song isn't anything special either.

edit: Funnily enough, the editing isn't very good, either. Like when it skips straight from Johnny having his 'last supper' to him playing his guitar, without any warning. It's more laughable than sad.
