I got a week of detention for skatboarding on school grounds. My board takin away until May for it being my 100th time being told to my board off (Its my only means of convenience! But I guess I do spoil it). I'm gonna try to get it back before then. And to top it all off, my girlfriend broke up with me. This is the worst fucking day of my life.

Solidarity, bro. I don't get along with my school either. Are they taking your board away, or are your parents doing that? 'Cos I'm fairly certain that schools aren't allowed to deprive you of legal property.

You know, my day wasn't much better. I got into a fight with one of my best friends, and I applied for a job at Starbucks.

I work at EB now, by the way. The one by Jersey Mikes/Lowe's/Wal-Mart. Not the mall one.

But yeah, don't worry so much, man. And Mike, they are. Kinda like how a business can get your car towed if you're in their space.

Well, I guess it's an implied thing when you see those signs that say "NO SKATEBOARDS", etc. I dunno.

Well, there arn't signs. But it is written in the Book o Rules. But I still don't think there aloud to take it. So thats why I'm gonna talk to them and get it back.

Well, I hate using the "It could be worse" line but this is where it implies. You will eventually get your skateboard back, so dont worry. I also think that the rule against skating on school grounds is stupid, unless you were skating in the halls or in a classroom, or a place that would be dangerous to others, but as a former skateboarder myself, I'm sure that wasn't the issue. Even back in the 80's there were old fuddy duddys telling us to keep off the grounds, even though we were far away from the classroom areas.

The loss of a mate may seem like "the end of the world", but hey its not. I understand your grief, and have been there. Regardless of me being gay, its all the same. Break ups hurt like hell, but life does go on, and I feel for you, but I also know that you'll recover and move on. When I was kicked out of my apartment in Pa. because my now ex was cheating on me, I thought I would never recover. As of now, I am single, but I'm stable. I'm in your corner dude.

Dude, regarding the skateboard, read this story (again, maybe) and consider yourself lucky that you still have that dense little head of yours. Seriously, man, a hundred times? You're lucky you live in America. I think there are actually some countries, you skate the wrong place 3 times and they don't just take away your board, they chop your feet off.

. . . But. . . um, then I think they actually give it back, y'know, so you can get around sitting on it and scooting along with your hands.

But seriously, as for getting dumped. . . Man, that sucks. I remember when my first serious girlfriend broke up with me. That messed me up for a long time. I wouldn't have thought so then, but I lived through it. You will too.
