Clear Channel being Clear Channel, the conservative radio station host! It also runs most of Richmond, so you can see why Richmond's radio sucks.
At least I heard Talking Heads' Once in a Lifetime on the radio. _________________

At least I heard Talking Heads' Once in a Lifetime on the radio. | Richmond Indie Radio WRIR 97.3 is 100% independent and good. Truly eclectic mix of stuff, too.
University of Richmond's WDCE 90.1 is semi-decent. I used to work there. |

I'll check those out... pretty much the only other channel with anything listenable (not Elliot.... he rocks, but that's not music) is 98.9, and that's hit or miss. _________________

Hahahaha, some of these are just ridiculous. I think that, if they're going to be in the business of banning songs, they should start with... you know, ones that completely suck. Not like, freaking "Hey Joe" or "Knockin' On Heaven's Door."
Weird, and kinda depressing... |

Yes, they're blocking these songs because of other "family moral" reasons. Anyway, I hate the radio. _________________

I don't really think Clear Channel has a real liberal/conservative political outlook or even ethics. I think they only give a shit about what gives them more cash.
Clear Channel's nothing more than a pimp, anyway. There's no better exploitation than media business! |

| I see those Mexicans are slowly overtaking our grand traditions of conglomerate mass-media and replacing it with dancey salsa beats. We need more border patrol! |

i refuse to believe that parents are yelling at radio stations five years after 9/11 that they played a song with the word "plane" in it. _________________
