I haven't been able to get to sleep lately. I have a feeling its stress.
I also have to sleep with 4 pillows but I don't necessarily use all of them.
Sleeping habits.

I have my laptop on my bed!
I also have a second monitor that fits on my headboard and hooks up to (almost) all my other computers!
and I can VNC and SSH into the ones it doesn't! Yay!
So yeah, I usually just compute 'till I keel over and fall asleep. I have a lot of trouble falling asleep normally.
My bed is also shortsheeted (since they just usually end up falling off anyway) and I sleep in the clothes I was wearing that day, down to the stuff in my pockets.
Yeah, I should get better sleep habits, but it works fer now.

I always make sure my cat's on my bed when I go to sleep. He's usually there before me, the rascal!
I always read for at least an hour (usually comics or history books) before bed, it's compulsary.
I used to sleep with a plush dolphin who I've had since I was 6, but my kelpie recently found her way into my room and chew out both of the thing's eyes.  So I'm going to have to do some sewing, I guess.
Also, I don't have any kind of computer within fifteen or so metres of my bed, so I win this round.
Hey Bizliz, good to see you! I'm still really angry at your football team, by the way.

| I sleep "facedown". Well, stomach down, my head is to the side. And I usually put my hand under the part of the pillow my head is on for support. I can't sleep faceup for some reason. |

you ACT all superior, but without geeks like me, we wouldn't HAVE a nice forum like this.
oh yeah...
and I can fall asleep in basically any position, but I almost always wake up face down.

The pillow-top we bought from Big Lots kinda got a groove in it... so to fall asleep I either have to spoon Alicia, or lay far away from her out of the groove. Sometimes if it's hot when we fall asleep, I have to lie away from her, but I almost always wake up in the middle of the night and roll over beside her.
That's, of course, when we actually sleep in the bedroom. Right now it's so damned hot that we're sleeping on the futon in the living room.

Me too.
I also sleep with a stuffed animal still. :/
I wear the same shirt from the day (unless it's a collared/button-up shirt, then I'll change) and just basic flannel pajama pants, or maybe some shorts. I listen to rock music on my boombox but my computer's usually off. Anything that can produce light is either off or covered.
My computer's near my bed, but not that far. But it's really easy to play videogames and fall asleep momentarily the way I have things set up. :)

Same here.
I sleep with 2 pillows, the left one HAS to be on top of the right in the middle, because I'm weird like that. I like at least 10 minutes of TV before I can sleep, and sometimes I leave it on mute or really quiet when I go to sleep. Also, my bed is a loft, so my feet are right above my moniter, with a wall to my right if I'm looking at the ceiling. I often find myself falling asleep with my face buried in the corner between my mattress, my pillow, and that wall.
