Well, today is believed to be doomsday for some people, a day when the antichrist will be revealed, or just another day for others. When I was a kid, I was frightened about this day. Not so much so now. I think today is just an overly emphasised day brought about by too much religious hype.The book of Revelation is basically symbolic in meaning, using symbols such as 7 candlesticks (churches), etc. And the 666 symbolism is taken fron Revelation 13:16-18 states:

Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell who does not have the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom: let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number. Its number is six threescore six.

To me, in my opinion is just another day.
But I did wake up at 6 o'clock. I'm not that much paranoid or superstitious like my VERY Catholic neighbor who blessed our house at midnight. She's 72, from the old country, and she has very deep Mexican beliefs. It's really cool but sometimes kinda scary. You can say she is a religious witch doctor of sorts (Brujah). Anyway, I actually authorized her to bless the house. I couldve done it myself since I'm ordained, but i thought it would be cool and respectful for her to do so. Ive also gotten about 2 calls from people wanting to pray with me. Anyway, I'm going back to bed. If the world ends, dont wake me up. Discuss what are your plans, if any, that you will do on this day, and if today holds any signifigance to you. Oh by the way Happy Birthday Murdoc

I think 6/6/60 or 6/6/66 would be better dates, since the 6s are at least together.

Cutting the grass can be kind of relaxing. I enjoy the smell of fresh cut grass.

I don't, it smells nasty. And there are bugs and *ick*. Plus, last week a little skin from my thumb peeled off due to the vibration of the handle. Sad

I'm with Otogi. The smell of fresh-cut grass is NOT worth the effort.
