I already play guitar too. I'd try it out if I were you. It's not really like playing a guitar.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I've tried it before, but I like playing the guitar a lot better.

So DDR: Supernova is just the new home version? For PS2? *hopes*

Either way, I hope it has better songs than the Extremes.

Its actually the new arcade version for now, just released to the US like two months ago. I still haven't gotten to play it, as a result.

Donkey Konga's not that hard. After playing Guitar Hero for hours my one friend wanted to play Donkey Konga. It was the first time I'd ever played, and after learning the controls I kept getting nearly perfect.

So I booted up space channel 5 again. Makes my hair stand up on end with the combination of cheese and music. But hey, I beat pudding!

Oh. I just found this.

http://ddr.ddrecall.com/user.php?mode=viewprofile&user=2761

I have 18 AAA's. I've passed everything on DDR. I have 70 ***'s and 5 unpassed songs on In the Groove. I'm decent at DMX. IIDX is hard.

Am I good yet?

A new DDR-like game has just come out called Dance Factory. Basically, you know can use your own CDs to upload your favorites and have automatically generated steps for them, or even create your own! There are initially only 5 licensed songs, but the whole point of the game is to use your own music.

Pros
-Play songs that you like
-All different difficulty levels

Cons
-CDs with Mp3 files on them do not work
-Generated steps can often come out offbeat or "weird"
-Does not work with DDR Pads with just an "X" and "O" button (Triangle and Square are required to navigate)
-Worst of all, the arrow order at the top has been changed from (Left, Down, Up, Right) to (Left, Up, Down, Right), which easily screws up DDR veterans.

My personal opinion is to really skip this if you enjoy DDR; there are just too many problems right now for it to be very enjoyable; however its a very great idea.

---

Coming 9/26- DDR Supvernova Homeversion (w/ Bundle also)
Coming 11/07-Guitar Hero 2 (w/ Guitar also)
