So I'm going to buy another guitar, I'm fucking tired of my Squire. I was thinking of getting a Fat Strat, what do you guys think?
I need something that can play both Phish stuff and still have a good electric kick to it. _________________

Guess it depends on your price range. I'm assuming you probably can't shell out the $10,500 for a Languedoc like Trey's got. What's your price range, what amp are you running through and what tones are you looking for when you say "electric kick?" Just from the Phish part, I'd probably check out something semi-hollow as well, maybe an Ibanez AS73 or a Schecter C-1 Semi-Hollow, or even an Epiphone. I generally like Fat Strats, but I find I don't particularly like Fender's stock humbucker they put in there.
Edit: Just as a side note, I put two Gold Lace Sensors and a Hot Rails in my Squier and that thing fucking kicks. I like my Horizon better, but for a Squier it sounds damn good. _________________ Married to Terri.

From the sound of the reviews I've read out of both those guitars it sounds like they're awesome, and they're definitely in my price range.
When I say electric kick I mean something sweet and nice like Eric Clapton's tone. And I was thinking of putting that Seymour Duncan SHR-1 Hot Rail Stacked Single Coil Pickup into my Squire. Is that the one you're talking about? Also, is there a remedy for the fact that it gets out of tune easily? _________________

Yep, the SHR-1 is it, although it's not really a stack. It's honestly a bit too hot for me, though. I might switch it out for a nicer single coil or another Lace if I get a chance. As for the tuning, the first thing I'd do is swap the tuners out for something decent, since on a cheaper guitar they're bound to be pretty bad.
I'd definitely go out and play a lot of guitars, preferably through the amp you're going to use, but check out those two especially. If you really like the Fat Strats, also take a look at the Highway 1 HSS. The black humbucker is a little cheesy, but the ones I've played have felt really nice to me. _________________ Married to Terri.
