Well I already have a job... but this one might possibly pay better. |
does it offer better benefits and such too? if it would be a huge pay raise, or if it only works out to be slightly better paid but there's something else appealing about the job (positive change in commute, more appealing company culture, better benefits, shit like that) i would go for it.
and terri, you planning on going into primary care, or as dodger astutely put it, are you going to become a lame-ass nephrologist (or cardiologist, or blah blah)?
also, i graduate college tomorrow. shit is fucking surreal.

Well, my current commute is a 15 minute walk... this would be probably a 20/30 minute drive. Benefits... are probably the same or not quite as good. But company culture? I hate the company culture where I work, so.... I think I'll put up with the commute.
It's a startup, so they claim, and I think I love working for startups.
Also yeah graduating from college is crazy. Have fun!

haha, I still have to do my residency, so I haven't decided yet, but Nephrology is actually one of my favorite interests! It's hilarious you said that because almost no one ever wants to do renal. Primary care is a definite option as well. I'm not so interested in the other subspecialities (cardiology, etc.), but we'll see. I don't have to decide for a couple of years.

i like the concept and the design a lot! i haven't read much of it yet, and i'm not generally very good about following blogs on a regular basis, but i'll totally keep it on my radar.
