well, they'll probably design it so it only makes you invisible to visible light or something like that, so IR sensors and X-rays will still be able to see you

.. and if it made you invisible to heat and gamma rays, then it might be able to SURVIVE a nuclear bomb.

It'd be cool but it doesn't seem safe. You could get one and murder someone in borad daylight and walk away not being seen. Or you could stalk someone without them ever knowing. Or if you were a perv, go into a dressing room unseen.
