I can consistently get in 2nd with Mewtwo. That's not good with one-on-one, though.
Yeah Sean, record it.
EDIT: Holy shit, those guys are good. I'm gonna watch the entire "series". |

I didn't realize they had equivalents in 64 though.
I'm not sure if my friends are insanely good or not. I can take down juniors in a free-for-all melee but I'm terrible in one-on-one.
I know people who play with Peach and the Doctor quite well. It's annoying.
But as I said before, I'm all over the place with my characters... and I need to practice. I'd love to master Mewtwo but I don't have him unlocked, and I'd like more than one character if possible. I feel very repetitive in this thread.
Ranking myself, I don't know. Maybe a 5-7? I mean, I can kick noob ass and just about take on a level 9 computer (sometimes)... but not much else. |
I can do some of them. I'm still working on Wavedashing and SHFFLing. _________________

I copied the video name of the link you posted (without the "1") and searched it. There are 5 or 6 videos of the same two guys duking it out. |

Yeah, I watched them all. Intense.
I was rooting for Ken. |

| Ken won a few of the rounds. But Falco was insane. I like how they kept hanging off the ledge so the other couldn't. (At least I think that's how it works..) |

Yeah, I forget what the term for that is, though. You can do that in 64 too.

Yeah, if you can manage to hit someone.
I use Marth, Link, or Falco. I consider myself to be good but, knowing my own limitations, I am aware that I have a lot of ground to cover before I can consider myself to be in the big leagues (those pros are flippin' insane!). _________________

I haven't played in a 4 way melee in such a long time. I need to get together with my friends sometime and have a tournament.
As of now, the techniques I'm working on are wave-dashing and of course, I am always practicing with edge-guarding strategies. _________________

I played Melee again tonight. I can still own with Kirby. *Yes*
Most of it's my evasion tech., but still.
Also, I have an N64 now. SSB should arrive soon. And then I'm playing the hell out of it. |
