Starting probably tomorrow morning, the forum will be down while I move socksandvinegar.net to a new server. My mom had a $600/year dedicated server she was using fer a website, but after she took down the website, she fergot to cancel the hosting. So now, we have a year more of this dedicated server ( which is a really nice, huge server ) just sitting around. She decided to give the server to me, yay. Gotta turn the forum "off" fer two days so that nothing will be lost and such. We should be back up and running on Friday or Saturday. In the meatime, work on yer entries fer the contest!

well, once you make the move, can't you just... open the forums on the new server, but leave the old one closed?
That way, nobody can post on the old one, but people who do get to the new one will be able to.

oh well, in the mean time, there's the IRC channel.

Well. Looks like the new server is being a punk and won't let me in. So, nevermind. Forum stays open until I can get in touch with some stupid tech support. Pisses me off though, I wanted to do this before the weekend... >.>
