List the music you listen to by decade. If a band transcends other decades, put them in those, too.

From my iPod:

60s - The Beatles
70s - Talking Heads, XTC
80s - B-52s, The Cars, Talking Heads, They Might Be Giants, XTC
90s - a-ha, Counting Crows, Fastball, The Flaming Lips, Soul Coughing, They Might Be Giants, Violent Femmes, XTC
2000 - Arctic Monkeys, The Bravery, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Cloud Room, The Flaming Lips, Franz Ferdinand, Gnarls Barkley, The Go! Team, OK Go, They Might Be Giants, We Are Scientists

Most of my music is from the 70's. Next is 60's then 80's. All the other crap is a very small percentage.

I chose 2000, only from the number of artists. 1980 is probably second because of albums.

I would say 2000 or 90s. I have a ton of Japanese music from both decades, and a lot of alternative rock from the 90s. I have some big band music from the 50s-60s too, but not a whole lot.
