killed a cat today.
I was driving, it was dark.
But what bothers me most is that I was more worried about the damage to the car than about the kitten.
I'm a terrible person. |

It was black. It was still breathing after, but it wouldn't move. I'll never look into another cat's eyes the same again. |

I can understand you hitting the poor thing, but friggin kicking it off the road??? Geez. 
I wouldve at least put it in a box or gently put it on the side of the road, if it was dead. If it was alive, i wouldve taken it home and tried to nurse it back to health.
I hit a opossum with my truck back in 87, It was still alive, and lying in the road. I stopped and spent 15 minutes crying and apologizing to it as I was petting it. It died and I put it in a plastic bag and buried it the next day in my backyard. I had nightmares for a week about that.
