i think tony is saying that you shouldnt hate it only because it's staged, i think 99% of the audience knows it is.

you can, however, hate it because it's stupid.

I've watched Sumo before and it's quite entertaining. At least more so than watching guys' necks bulge as they trash talk eachother.
