That's the reality of most bass players. I'm just strange, because I learnt upright first.
My friend is fucking awesome at bass, but she can't read music. I'm jealous. _________________ |

Call me a traditionalist, but I'd take a snakeskin Gunslinger over those. _________________ Married to Terri.

I'd prefer a bass. If I were to get a special custom guitar, it would look like...
A thumbs up, mayhaps? I'd like a lightning bolt if it had to exist already. |

I'll take an old fashioned Fender any day.
Scales are pretty easy. You just remember how many sharps/flast in each one then play it. For example; A major - 3 sharps. Start at A, play every note normal except for F, C and G. At least, that's how I do all my scales (I think it's cheating).
And Danyo? Jazz scales = not fun. Especially when you don't know them and you have to improvise in jazz band. _________________ |

That's how I always memorize my scales, too! Haha, it's totally cheating, but it works And yeah... jazz scales always screwed me.
I want an old school hollow body. You know, a sunburst one like George used to play. Ooo, and a dobro just for good measure. I'd be so hardcore. |
