do you think the media believes anyone would care if happy news came out of the middle east? the only 'happy' news they would even think about reporting on would be if an already oppressed group gains rights. yes, im sure every resident of the middle east has no possesions andhas a radical ideology wanting to blow up the country right next to them.
the reason you thnk theres only anger and ideology is because both governments actually are radicals who arent exactly embraced by the citizens...they usually only get power in the first place because they promise recovery from poverty.
and did you know all french people are uptight wine-drinking assholes? you see, none of them have feelings or compassion, because cnn doesnt report on it.

Well, my sister recently came back from France, and she says she met quite a few people that were actually like that.

I'm a redneck, so it's true. Well, no I'm not a redneck because I don't work outdoors. I'm white trash.
Oh, and I didn't just make that broad generalization about the Middle East because it's all you see on CNN. It's also a lot of what you see in history books, like, all the way back.
Ancestral antagonism isn't something we're real familiar with here in the 'States. But, hey, who am I to judge another culture right? Right?
I'm not saying "Middle East = nothing but crap", by the way. I'm just saying that the cultures there tend to foster dangerous hobbies that can easily get out of control and hurt people who are just trying to live their lives thank you very much. |
