I've never heard of any of them. |
If you've never heard of Terry Pratchett you're missing out. He's probably one of the best spoof fantasy writers (if not the best) alive. The sad part is that he's a far better author than most of the writers in the genere he's spoofing, and has more respect for it.
William Gibson is touted as the Father of Cyberpunk (the scifi subgenere), although why he's called that is anybody's guess.
Garrison Keillor is the man behind the long-running NPR radio show A Prairie Home Companion as well as a fairly good author.
Gary Chalk (sp?) did the voice for Optimus Prime starting with Beast Wars. _________________

Dodger, are you still in the U.P.? Mallman is in Marquette right now. |
Yes, I am, and yes I went to see him. He actually got a bottle thrown at him when he played Bob Seger's "Turn The Page". Seger is like the patron saint of redneck Michiganders.
Haha. My brother has one of those "A Prairie Ho Companion" shirts. |
