Looking at the words "Memorable Memory" and thinking how stupid they were together.

Indeed.

I think I'd need to gain another 300 pounds before I could do that without breaking the skin.

Going to California for Christmas a while back. Knotts Berry Farm (went on my first roller coaster there), Universal Studios, Disneyland (of course), Hollywood, all that fun stuff.

This is kind of a personal moment, but I don't mind sharing it....

My most memorable memory comes from when I was 12 years old. It was in the winter, though I can't remember which month. My family was getting ready to go visit a family friend, in a town about 30 minutes away. My mom and dad were argueing over something, I can't quite remember what. Anyways, they were really yelling, and my sister and brother were crying. I ushered them into the van, and we waited for my parents to get in. My mom finally comes, and says that dad isn't coming with us. I don't think much more of it, cuz I didn't really want to hear them fight in the car.

We were gone most of the day, and when we got home it was dinnertime. It was also dark out. We go into the kitchen, and my mom looks at something on the counter. I didn't know what it was a the time, but I know now. She stood there for about five minutes, just looking at the counter. Then she started to make us Western Omelettes. She seemed kind of tense, and really quiet. We were all eating, and I was kind of wondering where the heck my dad was. Then I saw a flashing red, blue and white light. It was kind of weird, cuz I couldn't figure out what it was. Then the doorbell rang. My mom froze for a minute, then got up and told us to keep eating. So we're eating away, when I hear my mom start to cry at the door. I stop eating, and wait for her to come back.

She come back, and takes my siblings and I into the living room. Then she tells us that daddy did something bad, but that he still loves us and that he's going to be okay. So of course we all start bawling, and I ask her what daddy did. She says that he tried to kill himself, but that the cops caught him before he could do anything, and that he was at the hospital.

I will never ever forget that day. I cannot, to this day, eat a Western Sandwich, because it always reminds me of that day.

It's a bad memory, but it is my most memorable.

(Just so you know...my dad was a manic depressive. He got treated though, and is much better now.)
