Hey, post your favorite classic monsters here. They can be from film, TV, Novels or whatever.

I like the original Frankenstein's Monster (pre-Karloff) AKA the modern Prometheus. He's a great tragic character.

I also enjoy the Man-Thing. What's not to like about a shambling mass of swamp muck guarding a magical doorway into the multiverse? Plus, His comic is called "Giant-sized man thing." Joke about that as you will.

and zombies, can't forget about zombies.

Discuss.

I used to be way into the classic monsters once upon a time. I'd have to say that my all-time favorite is Godzilla. I don't really like the movie with Matthew Brodrick when they're in NYC. Godzilla looks like he's on crack in that movie. I'm a little more interested in the awesome Japanese ones. You can actually see the zipper on the suit sometimes. My favorite Godzilla movie is probably the newest one: Godzilla 2000. I used to be really into the Wolfman and Dracula too. I idolized Lon Chaney Jr. for the longest time. Just recently I got to see the original Dracula in Art of Film with Bela Lugosi and I was stunned at how corny it was.

I dunno. If dark horse or someone accepts one of my writings (I'll get to it on the weekend) then I'll have one.

Oh, classic? Well, than I'll have to wait a while.

She's from "Anus Malone Licks the Blotted Paper", a cult favourite from 1967.

I don't get the whole Cthulu thing. Like at Gen Con, there was an entire booth selling nothing but Cthulu-related merchandise. What's with it?

Chupacabra > Cthulu.

You might be wondering why some little dog thing can defeat a huge aquatic monster. The answer is simple - BECAUSE CHUPACABRAS ACTUALLY EXIST.

Bonnie, you should make an Anus Malone comic/"graphic novel". Devastated.

I've got no idea why that's related to the thread, but, y'know, YES.

Well, any Anus Malone novel could hardly match up to Jeremy Sniggers' beautifully written 1987 thriller novel "Anus Malone: SKIN DEEP."
