I finally had the misfortune to see the horrible award winning movie "Crash."
After 20+ people hounding me to see this piece of crap, I finally broke down and saw it. And I have to say, I died a little on the inside. Haggis's thesis, is as about as subbtle as Richard Simmons is Gay.
He just runs one sterotype after another, making everyone look bad, and no one look real.
It is a movie to make you feel worse about the human race, and because it has blacks, mexicans, and whites it gets "bets picture."
There is no character development, just sterotypes, which makes it even worse.
This film is the most overrated tripe since "BrokeBack Mountain". Once again, it shows how America wants to apologize for every damn thing we have ever done wrong in Film to make us seem "Oh look at us, we cannot be racist or even a bit sexist because we made a movie about racism best film! We are sooo good!"
One of the worst films I have ever seen. _________________

It was a good movie, i thought. The acting was damn good, and the characters were typically portrayed as the antithesis of stereotypes. Not all of them, but some. If you think they were all stereotypes, you probably didn't pay any attention. (I would be willing to bet you decided you wouldn't like the movie before you saw it) _________________ I'M A TARD |

it was damn formulaic, though. character acts out stereotype, character does something that combats stereotype, wash rinse repeat. _________________

I really like it. It was all Quentin Tarantino-ish, and had an intriguing and mentally stimulating plot and purpose.
So fuck you. |

| Quentin Tarantino as in showing the end of the film first and letting the following plot lead up to the start. |

Combatting racism doesn't mean feeling really bad after watching a Hollywood movie. |
