I AM HAPPY. I found a pci G-force (280mb) graphics card for my computer. I should get it on my birthday. $80bucks ain't bad for a graphics card of it's quality (down from $105)

Well since this is the new computer thread... I just finished reformatting and restoring everything. I'm still looking for the little things, but so far so good.
Specs:
Gateway
AMD Sempron
1.99 GHZ
960 MB of ram (should be 1024  )
ATI RADEON XPRESS graphics card
awesome >:3

2 512 MB chips = 1024 MB
All computers read RAM differently. My old laptop said I had 980 MB with the same chips.
Manufacturers sometimes use different definitions of a gigabyte so you should read the fine print.

I wonder if they make 1 gigabyte chip, 2 of those would be amazing.

3x1gig single channel chips were available for the Dells XPS (that upgrade costs $800though) So as to cram three ram chips into the computer for 3gigs of Ram. YOU COULD GET TWO PENTIUM4 processors in that computer! Christ!
