Man, I was playing that again the other day.
I was fighting Vile for the second time, in Sigma's fortress. I hadn't played for a couple years, at least, and seemed to remember that this fight was the one where you could kill him.
So I used practically all of my weapons on him, only to realize that no, Zero pwns him again, then you can fight to kill. |

Just curious, why are the Gym Leader's levels so much lower in GSC and RSE in comparison to RBY? I can't remember what those acronyms mean, but I bet they're rad.

Hence, the hardest first boss in videogame history.
However, from the list of defeatable bosses, I can only think of Whelk from FFVI/III. Pretty much every other first boss that comes to mind isn't that bad. |
