We had ham, and I was up at 3am making the dinner. Everyone loved it. I think the candied yams were the hit of the evening. I add honey to them. The funniest thing was the mashed potatoes exploded on the table I guess there was an air pocket in the bowl, and when my brother put a spoon in there. SPUT! the center erupted. It wasnt that bad, but my brother jumped back about 10 feet and screamed like a girl. I cant stop laughing thinking of that

My thanksgiving was pretty good. My brother came back from college and he's a lot less annoying after not seeing him for a few months. Dinner was good, but we ran out of gravy and mashed potatoes, so I had to stop at three servings. D:

Turkey, green beans, yams (DRUNKEN POTATOES), potatoes, bread + artichoke dip, cranberry sauce, stuffing, vegan stuffing, white wine. It was amazing. And don't worry, by "vegan stuffing" I mean we stuffed vegans and ate them.

My family is cool for talking about the death of Catherine the Great during dinner.

Spoiler: it was by horsecock.

My aunt, uncle, and grandmother talked all about conservative stuff.
And there was dicussion of a possible Rudy Guiliani/Hilary Clinton '08 Presidential race. Because even though they're all hardcore conservatives, they might vote for Hilary. No one in my immediate family likes Guiliani especially. We were all afraid to talk because we're all liberal and we didn't really want to start any arguments. Arguments don't make for happy times with this bunch.

I cringed. If that ticket happens, I'm voting independent.

I barely spoke through all of thanksgiving.

I stayed in my grandparents basement and honed my smash skills a little.

Mine was okay, although I spent a large portion of the dinner listening to people say offensive things. Also, the airline lost my luggage on the way back tonight. Here's hoping I get it soon Neutral

Outside of that, it was alright. I ate a lot of food, and that's what it's all about. Ahh, to be American...
