I rented that movie in New York. It was a stinker, but it sure as hell made use of the repulsion factor.

One of the reasons that makes it so contriversial is a lot of real animal cruelty. Just reading the description of how they killed that monkey... *shudders*

Yeah, that and. . . the groups they're talking about are real and are not actually cannibals. You know, not that it matters or anything.

They were going to use a fake head with fake brains, but the natives talked them out of it, as monkey brain is considered a delicacy to them.
