Is anyone here(besides me) a Battletech/Mechwarrior fan? If so, post anything related to Battletech/Mechwarrior such as the main tabletop game, the miniatures for the game, your favorite faction(such as the Clans and the Successor States of the Innersphere), your favorite Battlemech, and so on.
I don't have the main game yet but, I do have the miniatures for Classic Battletech. You know that FASA Corperation(the creators of the game) closed the doors on April 31st, 2001 and later on WizKidsGames is now in charge of Battletech. Note that Battletech has been divided by two Tabletop games- Classic Battletech and Mechwarrior: Dark Age(or Age of Destruction). I don't care much for MW:DA, but I pefer Classic Battletech. In the mid 1980s, the Battletech game was started out as 'Battledroids'(but later on, FASA got sued by Lucas Films for their usage of the word 'droid'). After that, it got rewritten to 'Battletech'. Note that FASA used the mecha designs from 3 anime programs(even though Battletech is NOT anime): Macross, Crusher Joe, And Dougram. Like around in the 1990s(maybe '96?), Harmony Gold(the producers of Robotech, the americanized version of Macross) was pretty ticked off at FASA for using the Macross designs. So they dropped down the Macross based designs and they also dropped down the Crusher Joe and Dougram designs as well. On the other hand, the Clan 2nd line IICs(from Technical Read Out 3055(the original), derived from such designs but done by an outside company known as Victor Musical Industries).
Here are the first wave of the unseen:
From TRO 3025 and 3050-
Locust (image from Crusher Joe)
Stinger (image from Macross/Robotech)
Wasp (image from Macross/Robotech)
Valkyrie (image from Macross/Robotech, but modified)
Phoenix Hawk (image from Macross/Robotech)
Shadow Hawk (image from Dougram)
Griffin (image from Dougram)
Scorpion (image from Dougram)
Wolverine (image from Dougram)
Rifleman (image from Macross/Robotech)
Ostscout / Ostroc / Ostsol (image from Macross/Robotech, but heavily modified)
Thunderbolt (image from Dougram)
Crusader (image from Macross/Robotech)
Warhammer (image from Macross/Robotech)
Archer (image from Macross/Robotech)
Marauder (image from Macross/Robotech)
Goliath (image from Dougram)
Battlemaster (image from Dougram)
Marauder II (Closely related to the Robotech art that the Marauder was derived from)
Samurai ASF (image from Crusher Joe)
from TRO 3055(the original)-
Locust IIC
Griffin IIC
Shadow Hawk IIC
Rifleman IIC
Phoenix Hawk IIC
Warhammer IIC
Marauder IIC
The second wave of Unseen come from a realisation in early 2004 that FanPro was exposed to similar potential problems, as several other of the designs in TROs 3055, and some from TRO: 3058, had been done by, Victor Musical Industries, and that FanPro didn't control those images legally. Accordingly, the original images of these designs are now also Unseen:
TRO 3055(the original and/or revised):
Conjurer
Galahad
Baboon
Kraken
Goshawk
Viper
Behemoth
Vixen
Peregrine
Jenner IIC
TRO 3058:
Raijin
Grand Crusader
Nexus
Note: The Jenner IIC is unseen, not the Inner Sphere Jenner!
Now the Reseen are artistic versions of the original designs which are wholly original and controlled by FASA(but never published). The 3025 & IIC Unseens gained new life in TRO: Project Phoenix. While the 2nd wave of reseens are made by FanPro for TRO: 3055 Upgrade.
(Okay I made a very big explanation(and list) about the "unseens") _________________
