You're right, but your point isn't valid. "To declare or prove to be false" is just as good a definition as "to alter fraudulently." Actually, the "declare or prove to be false" usage predates the other by about 50 years in terms of first appearance. Both are correct. But this isn't the word thread. . .
I'd speak at length about the whole "just a theory" thing, but yeah. I think I'll just agree with Dodger's comment about strangling people.

Yeah I heard about that.
I don't know if it's an urban legend or what. I have a mate who swears by McCain frozen pizzas (and like, whatever those frozen lasagnas are with the Italian chef on the box) when he's drinking.
So I guess if he ever got a rat he'd just eat it and not notice.

well, since I saw a video with the father showing the mouse on the bottom of the pizza, I'd assume it's true.
in any case, I suppose it means that McCain has lifted up since then because all the pizzas I've bought from them since have been 100% rodent free.

i had a bit of a revelation today. from what ive seen, areas in the us that are mostly liberal seem to be a lot smarter and tolerant than conservative areas. i dont think i can see voting for a republican president in 2008 under any circumstances
the other part of the revelation (i had multiple) was that it came to me the reason that a black/woman president has even been considered is that americans have been hungering for a leader the last 6+ years, and are seriously willing to elect anyone. unfortunatly, i also realized that without the support of the south...neither hilary or obama have a chance.
i hope to god there's an awesome democratic candidate
