The 5th case is hella long, just so you know Seansy.

Yeah, I think I logged about fifteen hours total on that case by the time I was done.
They should make a Phoenix Wright Wii game. _________________

I have someone down the hall playing through all the cases whenever she's in my room...
My favorite case is probably the 4th. Because I love Edgey. |

I got JFA, but I haven't played it since I also got Ace Attorney. (both of them yesterday)
I just finished case four in the latter. _________________ I'M A TARD |

Is it my imagination, or is JFA much harder than AA? Like, the difficulty seems like it gets cranked up way faster.
Anyway, if you thought the first few cases were good, you will love the 3rd and 4rth. _________________

It's alot harder because you can have all or nothing situations. Also, the health bar lasts the whole case. It doesn't get restored in each section like the last one.
My major problem with this series is twofold.
One. You can be penalized for being too smart. If you figure things out, and present something very telling too early in the case, even though it'd win the case anyway, you still take damage.
Two. Oversights. There aren't many. But there are a few places where presenting certain evidence is very valid but it doesn't take anyway
Also there are more characters in this game that I detest that I have to deal with. AA had Lotta. I could deal with her. This one has | Quote: | | Lotta, Ini, that gay magician, the fop from the first case, and any number of others |

| Spoiler wrote: | | Lotta never really bothered me much, and after a while I just started tuning the "likes" in Ini's dialogue out. The magician is a bit annoying, but fortunately you don't have to talk to him much. And I kinda thought the cop was funny. Reminded me of Officer Meekins from AA. |
Anyway, I definitely agree about the oversight thing. A few times I had to resort to GameFaqs because something seemed perfectly logical, only to find out that the right answer was really off the wall and demanded a bizarre leap of logic. _________________

Meekins made me literally sick every time I spoke to him
But yeah I only needed a guide for one part of either game.
| Quote: | | In JFA, I missed the part about the lack of powder burns on the costume, because it mentioned that there was gunpowder on the thing |
But I did have to restart sections because I lost points for presenting logical evidence.
Also the fifth case on AA was awesome. And it was so hard.
Also, a PW Wii game would be awesome if they install a mic accessory. So you have to actually point the wiimote and yell objection. _________________ I'M A TARD |

Yay, I win! Beautiful ending!
Argh, Phoenix Wright 2 was much harder than the first... but I worked through it. I only got stuck hard enough to ask for help three times...
| Spoliers wrote: | Where Gumshoe was in the Hallway... I had presented Corrida's profile to him, but not Engarde's... or maybe it was the other way around. Either way, I needed to have presented both of them to get him to tell me what I needed to move on.
That photo Lotta took. Man, it took forever to get past that. There's so much wrong with it: There's less flowers for some reason, the person's wearing gloves, there's no button stuck in the pants....
but the answer was that they were too short? Arrgh. It seemed every time I indicated the Nickel Samurai wrongly, Phoenix said the same stupid thing... I had given up on indicating the Nickel Samurai at all. And the only picture we have to compare is the Nickel Samurai in a battle stance... his feet are splayed out to the side, that's no proof that the pants don't touch the ground normally. Arrgh.
And the last one was Powers' testimony. I thought I had pressed everything... maybe I had to press the same thing twice. I know you had to do that later with de Killer. |
So yeah, the last case was very frustrating... there were a couple of things I presented that didn't take, and I really thought they should. _________________ Come into my den let me hear you cluck

| Quote: | | The whole "lie to buy time then prove yourself wrong then lie some more to buy more time" seemed to me like a very cheap way to extend the length of the case. They could have just made it a normal three-dayer instead. I mean, it just completely lacked a point. |

It would be what you'd normally do. You just knew you were bullshitting the judge. _________________

Definitely. So translation on the 3rd will happen based on AA sales. That's right. Go buy five copies. And the new one for the DS is rumored to allow you to be... Edgey. Gasp. _________________
