It's a popular question. They're assuming about December this year or later. I'm pretty sure they've finished, or are close to finishing the Celts and Hellenes. Romans looking good too. Since they've upgraded their technology and staff since this, I hope to see it in about a year's time or less. _________________

Bump.
There's a video out of two heroes having a real 'battling out' time. Also a showcase of the Pezhetaroi Hellenic unit. It's all looking good - czech it out! _________________

And other bump.
I made some shield designs that they might be using for the Spartan Homoioi unit. Have a look here:
The Spartans are the ones with transverse crests and bronze cuirasses. The designs are a minotaur head, gorgan face, scorpion and boar. What do you guys think? They're more historically accurate than having the lamvtha (/\), as seen on the other Spartiate screenshots on their main site. _________________

Bump again!
The game isn't out yet, but they did release the models for the 6 Hellenic heroes (Leonidas, Themistokles, Xenophon, Alexander, Phillip II and Demetrius) which look 'hella' sweet... check the main page!
Also more screenshots and shit has come out since. _________________

I might play as the Hellenes now, just so I can use Alexander. |

| Quote: | Westheim, if you can tell the differences between the armour of 5th century Greeks and 4th-3rd century Macedonians, you really shouldn't be having much trouble telling who's who, though if you're not studied on the subject then I can understand why it might seem daunting.
Unless you want to keep guessing, I'll spoil it for you:
Solar shield and black helmet: Leonidas
Blue cape and checkered helmet: Themistokles
Gorgon shield and open-faced helmet (attic? I can't tell from that perspective): Xenophon
Silver armour behind Alexander: Demetrius
And yes, the big one eyed guy is Phillip. :D |
I wish this was eligible for the best quotes thread! |

| I've never been too huge on RTS, but the prospect of a historically accurate one intrigues me. |
