people are always looking for a crisis. I found it annoying that my self-setting devices resisted my attempts to punch them up an hour, but it only took me two tries to get 'em all. Seriously folks, stop whining. _________________ Come into my den let me hear you cluck

I thought it was interesting that this was even raised as a problem. I didn't have an issue with my compy, phone, or cable box... they set themselves just fine.
Did anyone actually have a clock that didn't set itself correctly? |

my VCR sets itself, but wasn't aware of the new condition. Auto DST won't be correct on it 'till April.
my atomic-clock setting clock was made after 2005, but apparently was also unaware of the time change... but it's got a built-in manual DST switch on the back that I forgot to set.
Oh, and I never downloaded the windows patch to two of my computers, apparently.
Still, no big problem. _________________ Come into my den let me hear you cluck

The message board's timestamp seems ok to me. With many message boards you need to go into your profile and manually reconfigure it to account for the time change. |

my timestamp isn't... i should go change that, i always mess up DST settings.
but i didn't even realize there was a switch in time when i looked at my computer clock and thought "oh! where did 2am go? oh shit it's daylight savings time!" and proceeded to change most of my clocks. _________________
