I say "gank" on occassion, but mostly to refer to really really stupid taking things.
as in, "I ganked a plate from the dining hall."
Devastated.

I think cowabunga should be used more frequently, but I doubt I could impart the awesomeness the word deserves.

I say "gank"... but now that you mention it, I really should stop saying shit like that. I also like "kyfe" as a substitute for "steal".

AND YES DAN A WORD CAN BE A PHRASE ALL BY ITSELF. Bang
