I didn't like the second one too much, mainly because it was merely a ploy to get people to watch the third one. I'll watch it, but I'm not going to go nuts over it.

This year will be a hell of a movie year, though.

I don't know why everyone says they didn't care so much for the second one. They say they were disappointed with the cliffhanger ending but I thought it just gave you one more reason to go see the next one.

The second one was good, sure. It just wasn't as good as the first.

Also, they should kill the running jokes in this one. Jack doesn't need to ask again why the rum's gone.

Depp says he would agree to do a fourth Pirates movie if they "had a decent script." Of course, right now they're focused on getting a conclusion out.
