Okay... Dave, as little of it as I actually had, I've now lost all opinion of you as a thinking individual.
Why is it impossible for you to understand that some people really like a system that comes ready-to-use right out of the box? A system that, despite your best bullshitting, generally encounters less errors and security problems?
Why is it impossible for you to understand that both systems have virtues and problems, and maybe we should leave it at that?
Why do you continue to bombard us with anti-Mac stuff? Only a few people bother to read it, and almost nobody will actually care. And even if they did care what you think, there's no way you'll ever change anyone's opinion. In the meantime, you sacrifice any credibility and likeability you might have had.

And Windows systems don't? When you buy a pre-built PC from a store, it's ready-to-use right out of the box. Why is that something people only attribute to Macs?
Why should people be conned into buying a more expensive computer when it's no easier or better to use than a PC? If all you're doing is internet, e-mail, and MP3 downloads, then a Mac is overkill. You could do that on an e-machine.

Ok, well if you want a system that comes ready-to-use right out of the box, get a Dell, or get an HP, or get an E-machine. Get 'em from Circuit City. All you have to do is plug 'em in and turn 'em on.
