I don't want to bore anyone with the details, but the design is the 'dokana', a religious Spartan symbol that appeared on shields, banners and tombstones. guess that's probably what everybody was half expecting it to be.

I'm thinking red with a black outline, maybe with some white shading behind it. red is the traditional colour, so I wouldn't want to get rid of it.
