Well, using 3D MMOs might actually take a bit more effort, and could possibly be, like, good. I'm willing to give it a chance.

As long as I can be in it. I'm in City of Villains so we would have to meet at Pocket D. Razz

sorry though, the greatest and best sprite comic in my mind will forever be this one:

Well, at least it beats the rest of them.

Why not do it in Second Life? SL's free to join, and you can build the setting yourself.

I hate to be an elitist, especially since I'm in no position to judge artistic integrity, but why the fuck don't you just draw your own art? I would prefer MSpaint to sprite comics any day.

I would, but I'm not really a fan of Second Life. Yeah, flying arounds looking at all the neat stuff is fun, but all the furry houses and the guro rooms freak me the hell out. That, and the client keeps crashing for me.

Once again, I would, but I can't draw. I know a lot of people say that, but I physically can't due to muscle atrophy in my hands. Makes my handwriting a mess and my drawings look like a drunk 5-year-old's work.

No, I can move my fingers fine, which means video games and regular interaction is fine, but it's really only writing and drawing that's difficult. That, and it looks like a few of my knuckles are sunken in.

Have you ever tried something like vector art? That might be slightly easier to deal with. It's tricky to learn but once you get it it's pretty effective. Pretty much, you draw the lines point by point and adjust various curves, and you can go back and play around with the shapes and stuff.

Also, MSPaint is terrible software for typsetting and even transforming images D:
so many pixels! no way to keep the ratio when you're expanding/contracting! terrible saving of gifs!
it's really fun for doodling though, and for pixel art.

Bob and George is a sprite comic because the author couldn't fucking draw.

Yeah, so? It started out like that as filler so he could improve his drawing skills. When the actual drawn part failed miserably, he went back to the sprites, and he put actual effort into them, and everything.

When I made a sprite comic a while back, it was because
A. I couldn't draw, yeah. I've learned to draw better over the years, though.
B. Well, like most sprite comics, I saw the bigs ones and wanted to do that, too. Then I realized that's a stupid reason for starting and tried making it my own comic.

It could have been decent if I wasn't so fucking lazy that I spent more time playing games than making comics.
I actually had like, a years worth of comics planned out and shit. Many sprites for said years worth of comics. I had stuff ready, but not the initiative. This is because I wanted to put effort into my comic, and I was just too lazy to do that. I figured "Put some effort in, or just don't do it."

Unfortunately, the thousands of shitty comic authors don't seem to care whether it takes effort or not, and just post whatever shit they have done in MS Paint.
