So, I thought I would take Ray's thread and run with it, though this of an entirely different nature and yet I think more of you have had to deal with my situation.

Before I share, I just want to know how many people's parents are still together, how many are divorced, and how old you were when they divorced.

I was fortunate enough for my parents always to manage to stick together somehow no matter what. As a future parent now, I can't imagine separating from my wife. (Not that I wanted to before, but you know, especially not now.) Maybe i'm just old fashioned.

My parents are still together. Seemingly happily, and I don't think about it any further than that.

My parents are still together and don't show any signs of breaking things off any time soon. I've known a bunch of people with parents who are divorced though, but I can't say I've been particularly close to any of them nor did I really have much of a grasp on any of their situations. :(

Mine are together. My dad did have a son before he met my mom though. I'm not sure of the details however...

As of very recently, my parents are currently separated with vague, indefinite plans for divorce.

Wow, holy shit. So much for 60% of the child population having divorced parents... I think I can name five of my friends' families that have parents who are together...
