Wisconsin, mo-fuckas. The Onion and I go way back. Best Onion memory: girl in my high school AP bio class that didn't realize that it was satire, referred to it as an "underground newspaper", and asked our teacher if she had heard about the new research into the recycling of human remains as food.
Seriously,
I heard I read something online where someone disparaged the AV Club... something along the lines of "that media review site attached to the novelty newspaper". Bothered me a little, since the AV Club makes up a majority of the print Onion, and funds the comedy aspect. |
