While you're at it, read Snowcrash. |

What the hell people. Why is Ender's Game so god-damned popular? Why do people who never read another piece of science fiction in their lives love Ender's Game so much they want to talk about it with me? "Hey, you like science fiction? Have you read Ender's Game?"
It's got mind-blowing themes, assuming your mind is ten years old and not very thoughtful, and Orson Scott Card is a shit writer. A good meter stick is the fact he hosts writing seminars, and it's general knowledge that writing seminars are only hosted by shitty writers. Fuck.
Ender's Game isn't a bad novel. It's Card's best, and I enjoyed it, but I'm so sick of having to hear about it. |
haha I didn't know that book was such a big deal. I know it's far from the best book ever written but I enjoyed it, and then heard there was a movie being made out of it and got excited. end of story _________________ "Fudge, Packer?" |
